"Seeds of Violence" - In response to the increasing number and severity of school campus shootings and other violence, Red & Me have begun work on a new play they hope will promote discussions and solutions to this difficult and challenging problem of our modern culture.
"Violins in the Schools" - While "Seeds of Violence" is the official working title, Red & Me plan to approach the play with their usual comedic and melodic flair, that's right, a musical about "Violins in the Schools", designed to tackle a touchy subject without getting too heavy, and to encourage post-show discussions with trained facilitators present.
A "Work in Progress" - Part of the process this time will be networking and interacting with students of all ages and backgrounds to get their input. Student monologues and song ideas will be integrated into the play. |
